Park Bo-gum and Woo Do-hwan have confirmed their enlistment dates in the coming months.
Hearts are breaking all over the K-drama world as actors Park Bo-gum and Woo Do-hwan share their military enlistment plans with fans.
Park Bo-gum, who gained recognition for the K-drama Reply 1988, announced his military service plans through his agency, Blossom Entertainment.
According to the statement, “Actor Park Bo-gum was accepted as a cultural promotion soldier of the navy and he will be enlisting on August 31, 2020.
“He will complete filming for the film Wonderland and drama Record of Youth prior to his enlistment.
“We ask for your support so he can fulfill his military duty in good health.”
Prior to the announcement of his enlistment, the actor celebrated his 27th birthday last June 16 and thanked fans personally on his Twitter account for the well-wishes.
He said, “Thank you for congratulating me on my birthday. Bless you!”

On the same day, it was announced that he has prepared a song titled “All My Love” to serve as a gift to his adoring fans.
The news was shared by Blossom Entertainment who added, “it is a song with a sentimental melody in which actor Park Bo-gum's unique voice shines through.”
The song will be released on August 10, which is aligned with his debut anniversary as an actor.
Similarly, The King: Eternal Monarch actor Woo Do-hwan has also announced his plans of entering the military on July 6th.
In a handwritten letter to fans, the actor said that he feels apologetic for not being able to directly meet fans and say goodbye face-to-face.
Mentioning, “I was happy while doing every project I was in and thank you to everyone who gave me their overflowing love and support.
“Thank you for watching over my 20s and for loving me. Thanks to that, I was able to spend that period very happily.
“I hope that you will be healthy and happy during these difficult times and I will return in good health and work to impress you once again.
“I love you all so much and words cannot express how thankful I am to every single one of you.”
